CNC Machinist/EDM Grinding Technician

Position Type : Full-Time; Temp to Perm
Shift : Monday - Friday, 7:00AM -3:30PM
Location : Lawrenceville, GA 30043
Pay : $20-24 per hour ( based on experience )
Core Responsibilities:
Plan and schedule work, ensuring optimal equipment setup using precision measuring devices, machine attachments, and fixtures.
Grind tools and dies to specified dimensions, adjusting controls for precise cuts using grinders.
Compute dimensions, widths, and angles of cutting tools using micrometers, scales, and gauges, making necessary adjustments to achieve accuracy.
Remove, dress, and install grinding wheels, applying knowledge of abrasives and grinding procedures.
Maintain equipment by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and coordinating repairs.
Ensure a safe and clean work environment by following established procedures and regulations.
Contribute to team goals by accomplishing tasks and projects as needed.
Key Skills:
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and adherence to quality and safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and CAD drawings.
Inspection experience with the ability to use precision measuring devices for quality control.
Knowledge of health and safety measures in an industrial setting.
Eagerness to learn and grow within the company.
Flexibility with shift work.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 3 years of grinding experience.
Journeyman Certification in Grinding is a plus.
Experience working with Amada Profile Grinding machines is a plus.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
