PDS Tech Inc Program Manager in Los Angeles, California

PDS Tech is looking for a Project Manager/Business Manager for our parent company, AKKA Technologies.

This is a 3 month contract with possibility of direct hire.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be in charge to develop and close new sales opportunities with Automotive sector OEMs and Tier ones suppliers

  • Business development and customer prospection

  • Account management

  • Development and support of recruiting team to accelerate performance by attracting best talents.

  • Project follow-up (skills development, performance, financials.)

  • Deep market analysis of California and potential USA west coast for Automotive customers opportunities.

  • Identification of AKKA’s high added value offers and support to marketing effort.

  • Active participation to Call for Tender’s task force (Technical, Finance, Organization,)

  • Project Management experience (a plus if with specific experience for E-Vehicles testing and validation)

  • Project status reporting at customer Management level

  • Project timing plan preparation and execution

  • Team and resources management

  • Customer focal point for the program execution and ability to manage subcontracted partners (consulting, experts, Academia institutions, etc)

  • Consolidated experience in team lead

  • Familiarity with testing infrastructure and tools (Roller dynos – test benches – components validation testing)

  • Able to define and accomplish the project milestones and deliverables

  • Customer satisfaction oriented

  • Proactive approach in case of urgent countermeasures definition needed and consequently tracking their successful execution.

  • Good understanding of the Electrical Vehicles architectures and systems integration (E-Motors, inverters, HV and LV wiring harness routing, Battery pack, performances targets in different vehicle class categories)

  • Basics understanding of the integration tools for systems and subsystems (communication protocols CAN

Requirements:

  • 7 to 10 years of experience

  • Engineering degree

  • Interest in engineering & new technologies

  • Good communication and presentation

  • Good adaptation to teamwork and capacity to take initiatives

  • Self-motivated and working with enthusiasm.

  • Knowledge of local market & Customers

Nice to have

  • Master of Engineering or Master of Business
