Job Type: Full time; Consultant (6 months )
Location: Louisville KY 40258
Schedule: Monday to Friday; Shift is 5AM to 1PM, plus OT
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Repair Technician to specialize in the manual handling and maintenance of commercial aircraft wheel assemblies.
Duties include:
Manual handling of commercial aircraft wheel assemblies (rolling/lifting <35lbs) Dismounting of tires from wheel assemblies using pneumatic impact guns and manual torque wrenches. Disassembly of wheel half hardware (heat shields, torque tubes, nuts/bolts, etc.)
Washing of wheel halves and piece parts (preparation for inspection), including loading/unloading of automatic washers and manual pre-scrubbing.
Surface coating removal (plastic media blasting) On the job training provided Small hand tool experience is preferred.
Preferred candidates come from tire service or automotive background.
Climate controlled environment.
Candidate experience in aerospace is not a must. Consider mechanical backgrounds (automotive, tire, etc.) as well as other physical labor roles.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred
- Experience in handling commercial aircraft wheel assemblies.

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
