PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking Shuttle Van Driver
The Shuttle Driver will be responsible for shuttling employees from a satellite parking lot to a UPS parking lot, via a UPS rented/leased/owned passenger van (under 26,000 pounds).
The maximum number of passengers in a passenger van would be up to 15 persons, including the shuttle driver.
The route the Shuttle Driver will be driving from the satellite parking lot to the UPS facility should be all in the same state and should not cross state lines.
The position will typically run from October through the end of January the following year but may be used during other times in the year, as needed by that operation.
The position will require the candidate to be available their entire shift.
Lastly, this position can only be used in approved cities in these states [California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, Texas, Pennsylvania and state of Washington], see list below for specific cities.
Job Requirements * Driving Record Requirements - Last 12 Months Driving Record:
No DUI or DWI
No moving violations
No suspensions, or revocations (except Non-Moving violations)
- Minimum Age: 21 years old * The position will require the Shuttle Driver to drive up to 100 miles per trip. However the average number of miles between a satellite parking lot to a UPS parking lot can be anywhere between less than one (1) mile, up to 30 miles. * The route from the satellite parking lot to the UPS facility should be all in the same state and should not cross state lines. * Ability to work varying shifts, additional house and/or overtime depending on service needs * Possess a valid state drivers license and ability to drive vehicles with a standard transmission safely * This position will not require a chauffeurs license or Driver Qualification File (DQF) as it is not a DOT position. * Commercial shuttle experience preferred but not required.
