PDS Tech Inc Electronics Technician in Marion, Massachusetts

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician, in Marion, MA.

Summary:

  • Controls and monitors operation of the wave solder machine to solder electronic components to printed circuit board.

  • Reads production schedules and operations manuals, as well as receiving verbal instructions, regarding sequential start-up and operation of wave soldering machine.

  • Moves controls to activate machines or systems modules, such as flux, pre-heater, wave soldering units, conveyors, etc.

  • Adjusts machine controls to regulate operating speeds, machine temperatures, flux and solder wave according to pre-determined standards.

  • Adds supplies to reservoirs of machines, such as flux and solder.

  • Adjusts dimensional and structural characteristics or conveyor pallets and rails used to hold and transport PWBs through wave soldering process using instruments and tools, such as micrometers, dial indicators, pin gauges, wrenches and screwdrivers.

Requirements:

  • BS Degree is not Required

  • High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 1 Year of experience.

  • Active Secret Clearance Preferred. Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance is Required.

  • Performs a variety of activities which involve standard procedures.

  • Gathers and manipulates common data, verifies adequacy and appropriateness; develops charts, diagrams, and standard reports. In technical or production positions, may also set up and operate standard electronic or mechanical equipment used to develop, produce and/or test products or process data.
