PDS Tech Inc Quality Engineer in Middle River, Maryland
PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer in Baltimore, MD
Researches contractual and Company Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation.
Develops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities.
Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.
Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
Works under general supervision.
Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with experience in an engineering classification. Required: Bachelor or Master degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering
Qualifications (3-6 yrs):
Quality Management System (QMS) AS9100
First Article Inspection (FAI) AS9102
Bachelors Degree in Engineering; Electrical or Aerospace
Part Time 24-32 hours per week
100% Travel within 75 miles of Baltimore, MD
A set schedule will be determined for onsite supplier visits
