Job Title: Project Engineer
Job Type: Full time; Consultant (6 months)
Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73135
Schedule: Monday to Friday; First Shift
Pay Rate: $66.21 to $84.46 per hour
Position Overview:
As a Project Engineer, you will provide leadership to individual contributors from various skill areas, managing both internal and external resources and customers. You will develop and maintain integrated project schedules to meet ongoing and new business requirements, working closely with customers and management to obtain necessary approvals. This role involves responding to changes in Statements of Work (SOW), assessing impacts, and negotiating changes to deliverables, resources, and schedules. You will also lead the execution of Support Systems product development, identify and report project performance metrics, and provide technical and integration leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership to cross-functional teams and individual contributors.
Develop and manage integrated project schedules for ongoing and new business requirements.
Obtain necessary approvals from customers and management.
Respond to changes in SOW, assess impacts, and negotiate modifications.
Lead the execution of Support Systems product development.
Identify and report project technical performance metrics.
Plan, identify, and coordinate necessary resources over the project lifecycle.
Compare actual results to baseline plans to assess performance, efficiencies, and lessons learned.
Provide technical and integration leadership for project plan development and execution.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science from an accredited institution.
5+ years of experience leading teams or projects.
5+ years of experience supporting cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of experience as a Technical Lead for USAF deliverable capability.
Experience providing briefings to senior-level management.
Experience leading multi-discipline teams.
Familiarity with USAF Technical Orders and Time Compliant Technical Orders.
Experience leading technical/source data reviews.
Previous experience in an organic aircraft modification environment.

Pay Details: $66.21 to $84.46 per hour
