PDS Tech Inc Machine Operator -3rd shift in Omaha, Nebraska

What does a great Machine Operator do?

As a Machine Operator you'll be trained on how to set up and operate machines such as embossing/card personalizers, printers, affixers, inserters and mail sorters. Additionally, you will carry out the task of making adjustments to the machines to ensure work accuracy while responding to equipment error messages. You will perform quality checks, confirm quantity produced, and set up the equipment. Fiserv strives to be the workplace that you can have fun in as well!

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for:

Operating any equipment (embossers, printers, inserters, etc.) used in the credit card personalization or credit card statement print/mail process.

Performing data entry to update system

Operating and monitoring equipment to process work according to instructions and/or client expectations, as well as setting up and calibrating equipment per guidelines and/or job specifications

Performing quality checks

Verifying accurate material used and embossing completed in accordance with industry standards

Troubleshooting to resolve machine and job-related problems

Performing minor machine adjustments as required

Assisting in the training of other employees

Participating in the team cross-training

Maintaining clean work area

Understanding, interpreting and abiding by OSHA regulations

Basic qualifications for consideration:

Must be able to read and comprehend basic work-related written and verbal instructions, in English

Basic computer skills (data entry, PC navigation)

Ability to stand 95% of your shift and lift between 20 to 30 pounds

Preferred qualifications for consideration:

High school diploma or equivalent experience

6 months + machine and/or production experience preferred

Ability to function effectively in a team environment.
