This person is going to help coordinate the migration of client off BMC –Footprints to Service Now. This person needs to have Migration Service Now experience. (SNOW). They will have to come in and be the lead on this project and will be the service now expert. Should have ITIL experience and need to understand incident and problem management, as this person will be working with a team that handles these issues for these migrations. 1 year long contract. This role will be working with Clients and Sr Management and is a very highly exposed role.
We are looking for a ServiceNow (SNOW) Project Manager / Admin who is passionate to drive IT Service Management transformation. The ServiceNow Administrator will be responsible for migrating ITSM (IT Service Management) functions and application integrations from BMC Footprints to SNOW and implementing new functionality within SNOW. The successful candidate will become a member of the EPS Global Production Support Services team. This work will be accomplished by working with an internal team supporting the ServiceNow environment while collaborating with an internal team supporting the BMC application. The successful candidate is expected to provide guidance with design, approach, and architectural decisions and provide technical assistance with the actual implementation and migration of ITSM functions. The successful candidate is also expected to provide knowledge sharing of the SNOW environment and his/her expertise to grow support knowledge & maturity of SNOW for the internal ITSM team.
4+ years of experience supporting and implementing SNOW and related products in a large I.T. environment
ServiceNow System Project Management / Administration
Knowledge of and experience with Incident, Change, Problem, Request, Service Catalog, & Knowledge Management workflows in SNOW
SNOW MID server configuration and administration
Experience with Helpdesk Management application
Aggressive Analytical/Troubleshooting with creative problem-solving skills in highly complex problems
Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain composure under pressure
Collaborate with process owners to design, develop, test and implement change requests with an eye towards the future state ServiceNow implementation
Provide technical stewardship and play a key role in the migration of the current IT Service Management tooling system
Understand requirements from service management process owners and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
Prepare high- & low-level design of the technical requirements
Additional Skills Preferred:
Knowledge of BNM Footprints
Past experience migrating (or other ITIL/ITSM ticketing platforms) to ServiceNow
Past experience developing/supporting reports from SNOW
MS SQL Coding Experience
MS SQL Server Reporting Services
Experience with Helpdesk Management application hosted in a Microsoft SQL Server environment
Customer Relations Experience
Written and verbal communication skills
SNOW / ITIL Certifications
2+ years of experience supporting and implementing SNOW web service integrations
2+ years of experience migrating) to ServiceNow
