PDS Tech Inc. is currently hiring for a AERO E&T - Engineering Program Manager to work at the Phoenix, AZ Honeywell location.
Description:
Coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs.
Responsibilities also include aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts.
Develops new business and expands product line.
Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments.
Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of complex tasks.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Project manager that will be helping with new hire onboarding, task assignment, training plans, tracking of data/activities/schedules, assisting multiple managers and project leads.
Candidate should be detail orientated, very well organized, and driven to create solutions for the massive influx of new hires
Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 8+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Systems/Aerospace degree.
8+ years experience
PMP certification a plus
Preferred Experience with managing multiple engineering development projects
Other Degrees can be acceptable if they have over 10 years of related experience.
Familiarity with Microsoft Project and other MS Office tools.
Preferred experience with Engine Controls, Requirement Traceability, Team Center, and Doors.
