PDS Tech Inc Material Handler in Plano, Texas

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler, in Plano, TX.


  • Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility.

  • Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from aircraft, trucks or trains and within the storage facility.

  • May require a high school diploma with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

  • Has knowledge of commonly-used practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

  • Works under immediate supervision.

  • Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

  • Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Special Considerations:

  • Lifting is generally in the 10 to 15 Lbs. range with minimal repetitions.

  • Exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is minimal.

Key Details:

  • Must have general warehouse experience; prior experience in a electronics or related type of industry is strongly preferred. Prior/recent experience with “Picking and Packing”, Shipping/Receiving, Working with Fed Ex, UPS, USP is desired but not required. Familiarity with SAP system is a plus.

  • Ensure candidate experience relates to that provided in job description and experience is clearly identifiable on resume for client review

  • Start date will be moved up as needed in order for selected candidate to start ASAP once on-boarding is completed/clear and final clearance is obtained. Be sure your candidates are available to start right away once on-boarding is complete.

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • PPE - Closed toed shoes required - toe caps are worn when operating pallet jacks
