PDS Tech Inc Manufacturing Tech in Pleasanton, California

PDS is seeking candidates for a Manufacturing Tech to fill a position in Pleasanton, California.

What will you do?

  • Execute manufacturing protocol accurately and with limited supervision.

  • Take responsibility for the manufacture of products as delegated by the Production Team Supervisor or Team Lead.

  • Perform duties within the corporate EH&S Standards.

  • Address and report to supervisor or Lead any problems in daily manufacturing.

  • Periodically review and discuss your priorities with supervisor.

  • Familiar with manufacturing processes.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Communicate effectively with other production staff.

  • Achieve high productivity by reliable and punctual attendance.

  • Use highly specialized equipment and instrumentation in daily manufacturing.

  • Responsible for the completion of all tasks assigned daily (working O/T may be required).

How will you get here?

  • BS degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology.

  • Experience gained through Bachelors degree or 0-1 years of experience in manufacturing

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Familiar with manufacturing processes.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Documentation and following SOP’s.

  • Communicates effectively with team members and management.

  • Basic computer skills such as Microsoft office.

  • QC experience is preferred, but not required.

Working Conditions

  • Works in a manufacturing environment; is required to lift up to 30 lbs. and may be required to stand for long periods of time while performing duties.

  • Must be able to work safely with materials and equipment.

  • Must be able to work overtime and flexible shifts.
