PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking candidates for a Custodian in Portland, Oregon.
Job Title: Custodian
Job Type: Full time; contract-to-hire
Location: Portland, OR 97230
Schedule: Monday to Friday 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Job Description

You’ll become a critical component of upholding our company culture and image all while helping us to look and feel our absolute best through the ambiance of the facility.
Job Responsibilities
• Clean and maintain designated spaces of the facility on a daily basis, which includes the lobby, restrooms, offices, conference rooms, lunch rooms and public areas.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, polish, shampoo carpets, wash windows and empty trash on a daily basis, and wax floors on a weekly basis or as needed..
• Maintain and stock supply cleanrooms, storage rooms and bathrooms as needed.
• Check for potential safety issues in all public areas on a daily basis and bring them to the attention of the Facilities manager.
• Make sure all doors, windows, entrances and exits are securely closed and locked when your shift is completed.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
Job Skills & Qualifications
Required:
• A sense of hospitality, integrity, pride in your work and a love for cleanliness and organization
• Extreme attention to the smallest detail
• Initiative to take on tasks without being told and without being monitored
• Experience operating janitorial equipment
• Computer experience or ability to learn software.
Preferred:
• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Knowledge of the latest OSHA safety regulations
• Some building maintenance and repair experience
Pay Details: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour
