PDS Tech Inc Field Service Support in Raleigh, North Carolina
PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking Field Service Support in Raleigh, NC. As a PDS Tech employee, you will be on assignment at Honeywell.
We partner with the local electric utility to provide a free service to its customers in selected neighborhoods throughout North and South Carolina.
This program relies on the Field Service Technician to install energy efficient products in the customer’s home to help reduce the electrical consumption.
Technicians will also qualify customers to receive additional free services based on the home's energy efficiency.
Job Responsibilities (not all-inclusive):
Installing energy efficient products in residential homes such as LED bulbs, low flow water aerators and showerheads, hot water tank insulation jackets, pipe insulation, foam sealant, and other measures
Educating customers about ways they can save money by reducing their electrical consumption
Accurately reporting installation measures
Quality reporting to the Field Supervisor
Documenting safety issues to management
Safely driving work trucks/box vans to and from the customer’s home and office/hotel
Participation in neighborhood kickoff events
50% travel time throughout North and South Carolina (Vehicle provided while traveling)
What we are looking for:
A background in Sales, Customer Service, HVAC, energy efficiency, construction or related field a plus
Ability to work with a partner with minimal supervision
Ability to travel overnight throughout the work week
Excellent customer service background
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong ethics and sense of responsibility
Ability to work to a deadline and in fast paced environment
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to pass criminal background and drug screening
Ability to speak Spanish desired but not required
Production, Safety, and QA bonuses are possible though not guaranteed
