PDS Tech Inc Analog/Mixed-Signal ASIC Design Engineer in Redmond, Washington
PDS Tech is currently seeking an Analog/Mixed-Signal ASIC Design Engineer for our client in Redmond, WA
This is a Perm/Direct position!
Our client has an exciting opportunity for an Analog/Mixed-Signal ASIC design engineer who will work on low noise, high performance IC designs for use in products across all our technology verticals.
As the Analog IC Designer, you will have a strong mix of technical breadth and work cross-functionally with Digital IC, MEMS, Systems, Electrical and Firmware engineers to deliver new features and product designs.
Responsibilities:
Innovate new analog/mixed-signal circuit designs for Scanned Beam LIDAR
Analog/mixed-signal circuit simulation and modeling
Contribute to design of analog and mixed-signal ASICs
Transistor-level IC design
Conduct design reviews
Model matching of simulations to real world performance measurements
Bring-up, debug, validation, and characterization of complex designs
Qualifications:
BSEE with at least 3+ years of relevant experience
Strong understanding of circuit design and how to optimize for noise, bandwidth, power consumption, and/or cost
Cadence, SPICE , or equivalent schematic capture and simulation
Proficient with standard lab equipment (spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.)
Experience in ASIC design a strong plus
Familiar with PCB design process schematic through receipt of assemblies a plus
Solid communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to understand complex systems and work in a fast-paced environment
