PDS Tech Inc. is seeking a Fitness and Wellness Specialist, in Renton, WA.


  • Looking for an Exercise Physiologist to work within the Industrial Athlete Program.

  • Plans, administers, and delivers conditioning classes that focus on corrective exercise.

  • Engages groups of employees in low impact functional movements that concentrate on injury prevention.

  • Supports communication and promotion of the Industrial Athlete program, including group presentations and marketing.

  • Plans, administers and delivers wellness programs.

  • Engages employees in services that support their well-being.

  • Implements exercise programs that are safe, effective and engaging.

  • Establishes policies and procedures for on-site wellness activities.

  • Collaborates with corporate strategy, suppliers, business partners and others to effectively deliver services.

  • Engages employees in services that support their well-being.

  • Supports promotion and delivery of company wellness programs.

  • Develops and instructs exercise programs that are safe and effective.

  • Supports overall operations of facilities.

  • Interacts with suppliers, business partners and others to effectively deliver services.

  • Supports communication and promotion of wellness programs.

  • Supports delivery of wellness activities in alignment with company wellness initiatives.

  • Develops and delivers basic exercise programs to individuals or groups.

  • Modifies exercise to individual needs and provides focused one on one coaching.

  • Provides recommendations and referrals to company wellness programs.

  • Performs facility monitoring, cleaning and maintenance.

  • Assists with daily operations of facilities, participant recruitment and administrative duties.


  • Bachelors in Exercise Science or Kinesiology is preferred. Corrective exercise related certification preferred (ex. NASM).

  • Basic computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PPT).


  • Certifications must be current and annual re-fresher training that meets OSHA compliance requirements, must be provided for: American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR Training, First Aid Training, AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Training, and OSHA compliance training related to Bloodborne Pathogens (Group Exercise Instructors do not need OSHA training).
