PDS Tech Inc Communications Specialist in Saint Louis, Missouri

PDS is currently sourcing for a Communications Specialist with the following experetise.

Help the Corporate PR function Promote, Protect and Influence our external and internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities for the position include: developing content for internal platforms including our weekly newsletter, Workplace by Facebook groups and our employee advocacy tool, event planning for our various internal, community, non-profit and government affairs partners; supporting various internal company initiatives; and other projects.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Content Creation:

• Help identify engaging stories to share internally and externally (where appropriate).

• Gather information and develop content for internal and external channels.

• Develop artwork leveraging Photoshop to accompany content.

Event Management:

• Assist the Corporate PR team with event planning and implementation, including logistics and vendor management

• Provide on-site assistance where needed

• Capture photos and develop stories recapping the event

Project Support:

• Provide communications support for Sustainability, Product Supply and (DEI) Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives

Perform all other duties as assigned

Ability to multi-task, work independently, and within a team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum):

Education

• Recent graduate with degree in Communications or Journalism, or a related field of study.

Experience (Years/Type):

• 0 to 5 years professional experience

Skills:

• Must have experience writing in AP style

• Proficient with Photoshop or InDesign programs

• Interest in Photography

• Event planning experience a plus

Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related discipline preferred

Combination of education/experience, in a human resources environment helpful

Experience (Years/Type):

3+ years in customer service related experience

1+ years prior experience in the field of Human Resources preferred
