PDS Tech Inc Customer Service Representative in Saint Louis, Missouri


Seeking to add an Online Customer Service Representative. The Online Customer Service Representative will be responsible for supporting ecommerce sales. A successful candidate will provide the best in customer service and serves as a knowledgeable, reliable point of contact for information required by our customer base including assisting customers in placing orders, tracking orders, scheduling shipments, processing sample requests, providing stock and customer quotes, processing invoices, following up on past due invoices and additional duties presented in the job description.

Essential Functions

  • Managing and monitoring open orders to ensure they have shipped and invoiced on time

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert regarding ecommerce ordering procedures

  • Collaborating closely with the Operations Managers regarding performance on time delivery issues/concerns

  • Participate in scheduling and creating website promotions for customers

  • Make recommendations on how to drive traffic to the website and increasing our overall conversion rate

  • To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with customer service experience

  • Strong communication skills, speaks with a welcoming tone of voice, and presents a professional demeanor in all modes of communication.

  • Organized, extremely detailed, able to multi-task under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Strong oral, written and verbal communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills

  • Technical knowledge with proficiency in Excel

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to raise issues proactively and in a timely manner, as well as propose solutions

  • Superior Customer Service skills

  • Prefer experience working with an ERP package (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
