PDS Tech is seeking candidates for a Recording Clerk position in St. Louis, MO

Job Description

The Recording Clerk is responsible for ensuring recordable documents are fully executed and accurate, preparing state required forms, submitting documents for recording through and electronic platform or through a vendor, updating the system of record, uploading documents to the system of record, shipping recorded documents back to the client. May interact with the clients in an effort to provide data or resolve recording issues.

Candidate must:

  • be able to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced high volume environment with speed and accuracy

  • be able to follow instructions

  • be able to identify which mortgage documents are recordable documents

  • be familiar with an electronic recording platform

  • be able to pay attention to details

  • be able to work independently while being part of a team

  • be flexible and willing to learn new processes or change functions to meet client demands and overall volume

  • be positive in the face of obstacles and challenges

Primary Skills Year(s) of Experience

Knowledge of mortgage documents and how to present them for recording to the county recorders offices throughout the US.. Knowledge of electronic recording.2 Years
