PDS Tech Inc Supplier Diversity Purchasing Analyst in Saline, Michigan

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Diversity Purchasing Analyst in Saline, MI

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responsible for Tier 1 or Tier 2 data collection, analysis and presentation related to diverse supplier spend

  • Report accurately and timely to appropriate Supplier Diversity project milestones including reporting out to top management on creation of target & achievement to such targets

  • Develop sourcing strategies, in collaboration with procurement, which result in increasing client's diverse supply base

  • Diversity council / organization relationship management

  • Develop, coordinate and facilitate meetings, workshops and round tables both internally and externally

  • Represent, both internally and externally, in the areas of Supplier Diversity

  • Supplier Diversity communication development

  • Planning and implementation of client event (annual forum for connecting Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers ), including speech writing, content development, presentation support

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

  • Diversity & Inclusion and/or Supplier Diversity experience OR Experience in buying role, including analysis and negotiation of costs (External requirement only)

  • Ability to gather and analyze large amounts of data (gap analysis and identifying trends)

  • Strategy creation for diverse sourcing: Identifying opportunities, investigating potential suppliers, facilitating introductions

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)

  • Added bonus if you have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Management or Supply Chain Management

  • Diversity & Inclusion and/or Supplier Diversity experience

  • Experience in a buying role, including responsibility for analysis and negotiation of costs

  • Public Relations experience

  • Working experience with Microsoft Power BI or SAP
