PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Planner in San Antonio, TX
Job Description:
Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
Assists with development and integration of suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
Assists in reviewing supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.
Identifies tooling requirements and initiates tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
Assists in tooling dispositions. Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues of limited scope.
Assists with producibility assessments for part or product designs.
Assists in providing input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.
Develops work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
Assists in the review, maintenance and monitoring of internal documents.
Works under general supervision.
Education / Experience:
- AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
PL1 Access:
This position will require the ability to obtain customer approval for access.
Dual citizenship or prior citizenship of any other country may preclude ability to obtain access.
A 3rd party background check relating to personal and business finances, residences, employment history, past drug use, prior military service, and criminal behavior will be conducted.
Must be able to work various shifts and/or an alternate baseline schedule that may frequently change to support mission requirements and may include weekends and holidays.
Mission requirements and/or workload may require both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Position requires 2-5 years of experience (level 2 position, please do not submit senior level candidates)
2 - 5 years of experience of CAD Software
Ability to interpret and read 2d and 3d drawing and specs,
Analyze & Interpret Engr Data
Manufacturing Engineering processes
Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft
AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Previous Boeing Planner Experience
Gold ESP & MESCI experience
