PDS Tech Commercial is currently looking for a few Automotive Mechanics for our Racing client in Santa Clarita, CA.

Responsible for building and rebuilding of racing chassis/vehicles and hybrid systems including quality control checks and final fitting of new parts, component sub-assembly or final assembly of new or rebuilt chassis, as well as teardown, inspection and measuring components. Perform quality inspections on chassis components, record findings.

Requires: HS Diploma/GED and some experience where the primary function of the position was maintenance and repair work on automotive. A certificate from a post-secondary vocational school is a highly desirable.

Must haves

• demonstrated ability to perform difficult repairs on all types of automobiles;

• ability to readily and accurately diagnose mechanical difficulties;

• ability to read and interpret technical repair manuals, circuit diagrams and blueprints;

• ability to read and understand technical drawings, shop prints, mechanical curve charts, etc.;

• ability to work from oral or written instructions and without instructions from own diagnosis;

• ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the essential duties of the position;

• good interpersonal skills; initiative; resourcefulness; good judgment; physical strength and agility; physical condition commensurate with the duties of the position.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
