PDS Tech Inc Cabin Upgrade Project Management and Planner in Saraland, Alabama

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Cabin Upgrade Project Management and Planner in Moblie, AL.

Summary:

  • The role of the Cabin Upgrade PMP will be to coordinate, drumbeat, monitor transnational teams that are in charge to engineer, produce, certify and deliver design modification for in-service aircraft.

Responsibilities / Tasks:

  • Realize new projects planning and on-going project follow-up with phone calls, maintain and schedule targets, face to face meetings for specific topics.

  • Preparation agenda, phone calls, check projects in PLM_FU, highlight issues, creation of MoM and forward & follow up the actions to the involved stakeholder.

  • Weekly meeting project review: chairman of the review, to fill PLM follow-Up platform with comments from involved stakeholder.

  • Participate to Kick off Meetings, create and provide provisional Planning.

  • Support the team in entering datas in tracking tools.

  • Weekly PMP review with Operations managers to discuss daily business, process issues and improvements.

  • Specific plateau meeting: discuss project status, issues and topics only for specific projects.

  • Prepare weekly reports for workload estimation, production lead-time, team capacity.

  • Support Project managers in preparation of operation launching.

  • Preparation Project follow-up templates and project dossier.

  • Communicate effectively with team members.

  • Report progress on tasks as required to immediate supervisor or project manager.

  • This role may involve travel for business and as such, you must be able to travel accordingly.

  • This position requires a commitment to act with integrity and to be aware of any potential compliance risks.

Required experience / skills / Training:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management and planification.

  • Ability to understand new concepts quickly; apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment; organize, schedule, and coordinate work phases; and, determine the appropriate approach at the task level or, with assistance, at the project level to provide solutions to a range of complex problems.

  • Strong initiative, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to deal with local and international team members, customers and partners.

  • Ability to address and understand all physical configuration, functions, and performance required from the production and management teams.

  • Autonomy and proactiveness are required.

  • Ability to read, write and speak English.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

  • Good knowledge of SAP tools.

  • Having experience in Aircraft design projects or aerospace would be a plus.

Education / Special qualifications:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in engineering or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
