Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer II
Job Type: Full Time; Contractor
Location: Savannah, GA
Schedule: Weekend Day Shift
Pay Rate: $55.00 per hour
The job involves improving how things are made in a factory by studying current methods and finding better ways to do them.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Job Summary The candidate will work as a Manufacturing Engineer II focusing on preparing and evaluating improvements and solving problems related to manufacturing processes under minimal supervision. They will conduct technical studies and research to enhance production efficiency and ensure conformance to standards.
Skill Requirements
Must-Have:
Manufacturing Engineering experience
Ability to perform technical analysis
Experience with production methods and procedures
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Methodology
Familiarity with Six Sigma principles
Preferred:
Experience with Solumina , SAP , or similar systems
Certification in Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt or higher
Six Sigma Principles: A set of techniques for improving process quality by identifying and removing causes of defects.
Pay Details: $55.00 per hour
