PDS Tech Inc ODA Specialist Associate in Savannah, Georgia

PDS Tech is seeking an ODA Specialist Associate for an open position in Savannah, GA.

Position Purpose:

  • Under direct supervision, performs a variety of compliance and administrative tasks associated with ODA (Organization Delegation Authorization) audits, manuals, and corrective action activities.

Essential Functions:

  • Supports ODA Specialists and department management with the review and record retention needs of the group.

  • Develops an adequate level of understanding of the issues related to compliance activities. .

  • Gathers, organizes, and processes documentation related to audit and corrective actions. .

  • Exercises creativity and initiative in processing, handling and distributing documentation to both internal and external organizations. .

  • Supports the tracking of compliance activities and associated documentation to ensure completion within the required. timeframe. .

  • Contributes to the preparation and revision of audit and corrective action documentation as instructed.

Additional Functions:

  • Works with internal and external customers to provide research and support for questions and inquiries for information. .

  • Participates on work teams to achieve departmental goals, complete milestones, and improve processes. .

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in business, science, aviation or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

  • 3 years administrative/data entry experience.

Unique Skills:

  • Temporary position for approximately 3-4 months managing the training completion requirements for ODA Unit Members.

  • Will be managing changes to Unit Member accounts within the appropriate domain including: creating new user accounts, terminating accounts, assigning accounts to an organization, making changes to accounts as appropriate, resetting user passwords and unlocking user accounts as needed.

  • Will be registering/direct assigning Unit Members for required training.

  • Running reports on training completion and notifying the Unit Member management teams as appropriate.

  • Working closing with the Unit Member management teams to ensure the reports are satisfactory for their requirements.

  • Working closely with the HR Tech team who manages the training database at the corporate level.

  • Must be detail oriented and able to follow processes and procedures to complete tasks.

  • Must be able to research and discover root cause for discrepancies in reporting and propose appropriate corrective action for discrepant items.

  • Making updates to the internal SharePoint page for ODA Procedures training information.

Other Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office software, including Microsoft Access.

  • Previous experience in record retention required.

  • Must be able to clearly identify procedural problems and work to solve problems in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures.
