Job Title: Engineer Contractor 5 - Special Missions
Job Type: Full Time; Contract
Location: Savannah, GA
Schedule: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $78.94 per hour
Role Overview:
In this role, you will handle engineering projects that contain critical problems whose solutions require major technological advances and extensive related development. You'll work independently, applying advanced technical principles and leading innovative projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Lead major complexity engineering projects within established scopes, making authoritative technical decisions that have a significant impact on extensive engineering activities.
Innovation and Problem Solving: Utilize specialized knowledge to develop innovative principles and ideas, optimize product quality, cost, and scheduling.
Technical Expertise: Oversee the development of electrical wiring interconnect systems (EWIS), addressing all technical issues related to the system.
Design and Integration: Produce and maintain wire harness assemblies using CATIA V5, ensuring compliance with EMI/EMC requirements and system functionality.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
Experience: 13+ years in a specific technical discipline or 15+ years in broad engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree. Experience in aerospace is required.
Skills: Proficient in CATIA V5 Electrical and Sheet Metal Work Benches. Must have in-depth knowledge of wiring diagrams, systems integration, and EMI/EMC requirements.
Capabilities: Able to work under consultative direction and use independent judgment to meet objectives.

Pay Details: $78.94 per hour
