Business Development Manager – Staffing

This role is for a highly motivated individual that demonstrates an “out of the box” mentality and brings a desire to “hunt” to the PDS Tech team . The BDM is responsible and held accountable for consistently increasing revenue through the generation of new business. This is accomplished by prospecting and closing new opportunities as well as leveraging existing relationships. T he Business Development Manager has a vivacious attitude, competitive spirit and loves a challenge.
Generate new leads, build pipelines, and identify and contact decision-makers daily by making cold calls and scheduling in-person meetings.
Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals.
Building relationships by daily interfacing with all levels of an organization. This would include the C- Suite, Vice Presidents, Directors, Managers, and peer-level associates.
Proven experience generating leads from inception to close (sales funnel).
Maintain documentation, notes, and hit target KPI’s.
Deliver exceptional service, remain engaged with all clients, and build a professional network that results in further business opportunities.
Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management to discuss strategy.
3+ years of successful outside sales experience in the staffing and recruiting industry.
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication skills along with a mindset for collaboration.
Tech-savvy, quick-learning and ready to jump into new software programs.
Competitive, performance-oriented individual who is driven to achieve goals.
Strong interpersonal skills in influencing decision makers.
Persistence and superb follow up.
Exceptional verbal/written communication, listening, and presentation skills.
Knowledge of and the ability to utilize Customer Relationship Management Systems and/or related tools such as Salesforce.
Knowledge of sales trends, best practices, and methodologies within the staffing and workforce solutions industries
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
