PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Repair Operator, in Lenexa, KS.
Repairs and services company products and components.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Tracks, disassembles and checks incoming units to determine what service or repairs are necessary.
Inspects condition of equipment and components for proper maintenance under warranty agreements.
Cleans and tests parts; operates soldering and brazing equipment to refit components.
Sets-up, calibrates and operates test equipment to measure performance levels of electrical and mechanical components.
Orders replacement components and parts as needed.
Tracks and logs repair work and completed work orders.
Cleans and maintains work areas and shop equipment.
Performs other related duties as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school; and up to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
HS Diploma/Equivalent is the minimum education required
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
