PDS Tech Inc H-60 Maintenance and Aircrew Instructor in Stuart, Florida
PDS Tech is seeking an H-60 Maintenance and Aircrew Instructor for an open position in Stuart FL.
The ideal candidate must be able to:
Act as an H-60 Maintenance and Aircrew Instructor,
Be a Maintainer (A&P Lead, troubleshooting, repairing and servicing aircraft and engine systems, and perform major structural modifications in the field),
Conduct formal classroom academic training,
Provide On the Job Training (OJT), crewmember flight training and develop training courseware materials.
Candidate must be able to be responsible for the planning, preparing, and conducting training events while observing all corporate and customer safety policies and procedures in a fast-paced training environment at the Training Academy.
The candidate must:
Possess the ability to conduct classroom and on-aircraft training on the H-60G, H-60M, H-60R, H-60S, H-60U, H-60W, S-70B, S-70i and S-70M.
Be able to maintain close supervision of students during both classroom and practical instruction.
Determine and report on student proficiency.
Maintain aircraft, training aids, manuals, course material, and supplies.
Have a comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation or manufacturers' manuals.
Maintain required training records, files, and reports and provide special instructions and counseling for students.
Oversee all inspections and maintenance on a variety of aircraft ensuring adherence to FAA and manufacturer’s requirements and guidelines.
Support includes disassembling and inspecting parts for wear, cracks, security, or other defects, and repairing or replacing defective parts on or off aircraft.
Adjust, repair, or replace structures/ systems and aircraft components, systems, or accessories.
This requires individual workload responsibility to maintain schedules on assigned projects from supervisor. This will also perform other duties as requested to support overall contract effort or customer Aviation maintenance support.
The candidate will be required to travel in support of training and field maintenance efforts.
Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience on an H-60 platform (H-60G, H-60M, H-60R, H-60S, H-60U, H-60W, S-70B, S-70i or S-70M), S92/S76/53E aircraft desired
Demonstrate effective communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
Must have ability to assess learning material effectiveness
Understanding of System Approach to Training
Ability to quickly master new technical and training applications
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class II FAA Flight Physical
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance
Have an FAA A&P License
Formal classroom instruction and Instructional Systems Design knowledge and application
Experience in the Sustainment and Support of the Hawk aircraft series
