PDS Tech Inc MATERIAL HANDLER/WAREHOUSE-1st shift in Suring, Wisconsin

JOB SUMMARY:

On a daily basis move product for assembly areas, shrink wrap and ready product for shipment. Load casework shipments when needed. Maintains flow in assigned work area. Pick and package orders shipping directly from Warehouse.

Load and unload trailers for shipping and receiving. Maintain an organized and clean warehouse.

Operation of Forklift.

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following.

Responsible for using all material transporting equipment in a safe manner.

Operation of a hand truck and/or forklift

Compliance of all safety rules.

Organization of warehouse

Inventory control.

Maintain equipment, fill out daily check lists.

Crates product for shipping.

Load and lift wrapped product into trailers

Alert Supervisor of any discrepancy in Bill of Lading’s or receivers.

Follows assigned production schedule and reports progress to supervisor as needed.

Other duties and projects as assigned.

Maintains clean work areas.

Work with assembly for proper flow of product.

Other tasks and duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: 1-2 years woodworking preferred.

Forklift experience ideal but will provide training

Physical mobility sufficient to accommodate bending, reaching, lifting and gripping up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to work in cold conditions.

Intermediate math skills to include fractions and decimals, including conversion.

Ability to read a tape measure quickly and accurately.

Have good attention to detail.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Ability to learn quickly and desire to take on new projects.

Must present a professional image.

Team player.

Good safety record.

Stress Tolerance.
