PDS Tech Inc Production Scheduler in Suring, Wisconsin


The production scheduler will be responsible for scheduling incoming orders for production and production change orders, checking on workability of orders as to planning and material availability. Maintain lead times based on customer expectations as well as specific guidelines already established.

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Monitor production schedule adherence, and make adjustments to production schedules, as necessary, to meet customer demands.

  • Ensures that all information on incoming sales orders are complete, accurate; especially the quantity ordered, wood type and due date.

  • Schedule open sales orders to the production floor to meet contractual requirements.

  • Distribute Fastrak, Finish Goods, and UPS schedules to the production floor

  • Process production schedules

  • Calculate casework cabinet clamp equivalents.

  • Maintain routings and update M2M.

  • Process production flow chart

  • Respond to all related inquiry requests (such as but not limited to lead-times, order status, cancellations) in a timely, proficient manner.

  • Take the lead whenever the schedule must change due to failed batches, changes in customers demand or unscheduled down time in production.

  • Interact with Customer Service and Sales to provide timely and accurate information on product availability, schedule changes, general inquires and similar communications.

  • Monitor and track production capacity. Reset the standard when the capacity exceeds the standard.

  • Release job orders

  • Performs other related duties as required.


  • Extreme organizational skills and high level of attention to detail

  • Great communication skills, must be a team player and able to work closely with others.

  • Strong working knowledge of general computer applications.

  • Ability to learn quickly and be an effective multi tasker to take on new projects as needed.

  • Must present a professional company image.

  • Capable of handling a fast pace environment.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.


  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Two years manufacturing experience
