PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector in Tewksbury, MA

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities: • Outgoing Quality Control – utilize required tools to conduct final QC tests and inspection of finished goods, software and standards per established procedures or inspection plans and release product in ERP system • Assist and work within other Quality Assurance areas such as visually inspecting incoming materials • Generate and update documentation required by QA/Operations to ensure processes and products are fit for purpose • Initiate non-conformance reports and/or assist with root cause investigations as required • Rework or reject subassemblies or finished products as required • Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective actions • Utilize required tools to conduct inspections (gauges and testing equipment) • Initiate Non-Conformance reports as required • Work with production management and Quality Assurance to provide feedback to assemblers regarding accuracy of assembly procedures • Perform review of Device History Records and other documentation for compliance to established procedures and Good Documentation Practices • Support and maintain ISO9001 compliant QMS through continual improvement • Maintain document files, test records and sample inventory in a timely and accurate manner • Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists • Performed analysis and identified trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials and bulk raw materials, and recommended corrective actions when necessary • Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations • Escalates gaps in the schedule or compliance, maintains the calibration database and files • Resolve out of calibration equipment to determine risk to finished product • Participate in continuous improvement team (Practical Process Improvement) activities and projects as required • Other duties may be assigned

Experience and Qualifications needed to succeed:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in related QA/QC setting or equivalent combination of experience and education (Associate degree preferred).

• Demonstrated documentation/communication/computer skills

• Self-starter, Team Player, Detail Oriented

• High ethical standards – will not compromise quality requirements

• Ability to escalate issues as needed

• Responsible and Accountable

• Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels of the organization

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Agile PLM system experience preferred

• Intuitive ERP system experience preferred

• Root cause analysis training preferred

• Experience with internal auditing a plus

• Knowledge in ISO9001:2015 and industry specific standards
