PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking An Inspector to work at our Aerospace client in Torrance, CA

Job Title : Inspector - Level 3
Start Date : As soon as cleared
Pay/Bonus : $28.50/Hr + $3000 Sign On Bonus
• $1k at 14 days - with perfect attendance
• $1k at 60 days - must have received 14 day bonus to qualify
• $1k at 90 days - must have received 14 day bonus to qualify
Location : Torrance, CA 90504 - (Near the intersection of W. 190th St and Crenshaw Blvd)
Schedule : 2nd Shift = Monday - Friday, 2:30pm to 11pm
Number of Openings : 1
Type : Contract with potential for permanent placement
Duration : 6 Months - 2 years
Description :
Performs quality control inspection using a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) during the manufacture of products. Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Quality field.
Performs a variety of tasks, including final out inspection may be required.
Works under immediate supervision.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Typically reports to a supervisor.
Special Considerations: Lifting will exceed 30 Lbs. and/or repetitions of this or lesser weights will be significant.
Exposure to substantial machine, chemical, biological or other physical risks are anticipated.
Requirements
Citizenship : Must be a US citizen
Education : Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
DS/BG : Drug Screen (Checks for Marijuana) and Background Check.
Experience : Requires 4-6 years of CMM experience.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Quality field.
