PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Management Assistant, in Tucson, AZ.
Seeking a Management Assistant to be a part of our admin team supporting diverse departments of technical and engineering professionals within the directorate.
Position Responsibilities Include:
•Organizing and prioritizing leadership calendars to minimize schedule conflicts
•Planning and coordinating domestic/international travel
•Preparing and submitting expense reports
•Drafting departmental and directorate correspondence
•Reserving and approving conference rooms
•Arranging business lunches
•Preparing security clearances and visitor requests
•Working with the admin team to support directorate initiatives
•Collaboration with the MSD Operations team and Talent Acquisition (TA) for onboarding of new hires to the directorate
•Proficient in Outlook and the Microsoft Office suite including: PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
•Experience in a fast paced work environment that requires you to respond quickly and effectively to non-routine requests and situations
•Highly proficient in organizing data and documents with the ability to maintain confidentiality of personnel information
•Flexibility and openness to new ideas and ways of accomplishing tasks
•Experience working on a team with the willingness to work collaboratively with other administrative personnel
•Proficient with web based tools such as eRoom, SAP/APEX, and SharePoint
•Demonstrated professional experience working in an administrative environment
•Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must be a US Citizen.
•Previous defense industry and/or company experience
•Self-starter with initiative and independent judgment for assisting management and employees
•Ability to think ahead, anticipate challenges and mitigate
•Ability to identify problems and develop corrective actions
•Willingness to learn new skills
•Working knowledge of the Web-TE online expense reporting systems and FSS policies
•Familiarity with ITAR restrictions as related to Defense Contractors
•An Associate's Degree or some college is desirable
•High School diploma with 4+ years’ related experience
•Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
