Location: Union, MO 63084

Hours : Third Shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)

Must Have: Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair ability.

Description:

Our client is looking for a skilled Electrician Tech to troubleshoot and repair machinery/equipment. The Electrician Tech’s responsibilities include performing regular inspections of machinery and equipment, carrying out troubleshooting, repairing, maintenance and fulfilling other duties.

To ensure success as a Electrician Tech, you should have electrical and mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery, excellent troubleshooting skills, and good time-management skills. Ultimately, a top-class Electrician Tech boosts production by ensuring all production equipment functions correctly and receives regular preventative maintenance and proper repairs for breakdowns.

Responsibilities:

  • Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.

  • Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.

  • Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines.

  • Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.

  • Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.

  • Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades.

  • Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks.

  • Communicating with the production team and maintaining a clean work area.

  • Performing preventative maintenance on machinery and filling out paperwork.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.

  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.

  • Basic computer and report writing skills.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.

  • Good time-management skills.
