PDS Tech Inc Production Technician in Wentzville, Missouri
Production Technician
Contract to Hire: 90 days
Location: Wentzville, MO
Hours: M-F (8 to 5)
Status: W-2 US Citizen
Pay Scale: $19.00 an hour
Drug Screen and background check required
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years mechanical assembly experience Competencies
• Basic math and reading skills
• Basic computer competency
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• High attention to detail and self-motivation skills Abilities
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time
• Manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately Responsibilities
• Read, interpret, and follow basic drawings, diagrams, bills of materials, and written instructions to accurately assemble and test products
• Use handheld tools such as handheld screw and drill gun
• Product preparation, labeling, and basic job data entry
• Identify, rework and/or repair non-conforming products
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area
• Assist in inventory incoming inspection, storage, and cycle counting
• Assist in shipment packaging & palletization
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
