PDS Tech Inc Accountant in West Palm Beach, Florida
PDS Tech is seeking An Accountant to work in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Job Descriptions:
• Perform light clerical duties within an accounting function.
• May type, match payments, check items on purchase orders, prepare bank deposits and perform other routine calculations.
• Perform basic accounting functions requiring knowledge of accounts payable and receivable and of bank reconciliation functions, answer customer inquiries, research problems and/or complaints, routine calculating, and post and verify duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records.
• Perform special projects (preparation of interim statutory financial statements, perform ad-hoc analysis, perform SOX testing)
• Support US GAAP monthly closes and Carrier annual foreign tax reporting processes as needed
• Position may require periodic travel for special projects and visits to Holding Company locations
Assist in the annual international statutory reporting processes including:
o Participate in the annual jurisdictional audit planning process with local foreign teams and external auditors
o Prepare and/or review the statutory annual accounts
o Prepare investment impairment files and related discounted cash flow models
o Prepare the required Statutory-US GAAP analysis including investigating differences identified to determine if adjusting entries are needed
o Coordinate final review and sign-off of internal management
Holding Company Accounting
• Responsible for month end close (Posting Journal Entry, HFM Load, and financial analysis)
• Prepare account reconciliations
• Assist with processing of accounts payable invoices
• Support statutory annual accounts and financial summary
• Work with cross-functional teams on the annual budget and monthly forecast
• Assist with ad hoc requests and financial analysis, when required by senior leadership
Qualifications:
Bachelors
8-5 shift.
