PDS Tech Inc Mass Properties Engineer in Wichita, Kansas
Primary responsibility will be to support design changes and mass properties analysis for Special Missions and Defense modification programs.
You will develop technical solutions to complex problems that require the use of ingenuity and creativity.
You must be capable of complete analysis documentation and assistance in certification efforts, as required.
Will represent the organization as a primary mass properties technical contact on projects.
Will interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant technical matters requiring coordination between organizations. Requires coordination with multiple technical stakeholders.
In this position, you will work closely with IPT members (such as Program Management, Flight Test, Technical Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Supply Chain, & Quality Assurance) to achieve the desired design requirements and objectives.
Integrate Special Missions equipment on a variety of aircraft platforms for missions including the following:
Intelligence/Surveillance/Reconnaissance, Aerial Survey, Air Ambulance, Flight Inspection, Float Operations, Parachute, Maritime Patrol, Search & Rescue, Training, Utility/Transport
Perform design support by providing mass properties tracking, control, reporting and presentation.
Responsible for design support, weight control, and weight verification
Utilize CATIA to evaluate mass properties of aircraft designs
Utilize wide application of engineering principles and concepts for analysis of aircraft mass properties
