Job Summary:

• Applies principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, electronic and electrical testing to support manufacturing test engineering initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting legacy test stations, both hardware and software that are being utilized in a production environment or at service centers.

• Perform root cause analysis on Production failures

• Under minimal supervision, performs a variety of highly complex technical tasks which require a substantial understanding of engineering techniques and all technical objectives.

• Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative

• Perform as member of a technical team utilizing effective communication skills

• Utilizes automated test or design software.

• Highly proficient at data analysis using required software tools.

• Is viewed as a technical resource to others.

• Conducts engineering tests and analyzes data to support recommended design changes when applicable.

• Works from minimal documentation, written or verbal instructions,

• schematics, rough sketches, diagrams, layouts and plans often requiring interpretation.

• Applies significant electronic theory to configure, model, layout, prototype, build, test, troubleshoot, determine solutions and modify electronic product for engineering efforts applicable to the department or program charter.

• May assist engineers with design and development of new processes and/or products.

Basic Qualifications

• Have good communication, documentation, and collaboration/teamwork skills

Desired Skills

• Have domain knowledge of avionics products

• Programming experience (LabView, C, C#, Test Stand).

• Perform electrical and electronics test equipment troubleshooting and repair.

• Demonstrates good problem solving skills and ability to learn and apply skillsets to different situations.

• Must be a team oriented individual and self starter.
