PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking Operations - General Laborer/Material Handler 3
Position Summary:
This position requires prior experience working as a Material Handler in support of an electronics manufacturing/production operation.
Duties include stocking various electronic parts into specific bin locations, pulling parts and kits with conformation and data entry in SAP system, cycle counting, preparing incoming parts for receiving steps, delivery of parts and materials to manufacturing production lines and shipping, and delivery of material to site customers.
Knowledge of ESD and FOD as well as safe working practices.
And regular and reliable attendance along with flexibility to support overtime situations.
Requirements:
Prior experience in Material Handling methods in support of electronic based manufacturing operation.
Accuracy and attention to detail in counting and pulling/inspecting of parts.
Ability to muti-task and keep track of several different tasks throughout the day.
Working knowledge of SAP (or like system of complexity).
Team player with positive communication skills and ability to listen well and quickly apply new learnings and processes.
Interfaces with team members, factory and site employees, and area leadership.
Experience working in a fast paced environment, yet at the same time displaying the mindset of doing tasks the right way the first time.
Ability to lift heavy parts and equipment weighing up to 55pounds at limited times, routinely 20-30lbs.
Education Requirement:
- High school graduate with at least 3-5yrs experience in this type of environment.
